The R Word

When the editors of the Neshaminy High School newspaper ban their racist team name in support of a protesting Indigenous mother, school administrators retaliate against the students. In a district claiming their 80-year old tradition honors Native Americans, many people silence and shame Donna Fann- Boyle for speaking up. Community allies create a grassroots effort to educate where the school will not, while Donna carries her complaint with the school board to the Human Relations Commission of Pennsylvania and beyond.
